Last updated: June 2026

1. Who we are

Quest Pit Ltd ("Quest Pit", "we", "us", "our") is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. Quest Pit Ltd is the promoter and landowner behind the Quest Park data centre campus at Ampthill Road, Stewartby, Bedford, MK45 3JP, United Kingdom.

For any questions about this notice or how we handle your personal data, please contact us at bk@questpark.co.uk.

2. What personal data we collect

We collect personal data that you choose to provide through:

  • the Contact form on this site, and
  • the Data Room access request form.

The fields we collect are:

  • your name;
  • your organisation;
  • your business email address;
  • your role or job title; and
  • the content of your enquiry message.

We also collect limited technical information automatically (such as IP address, browser type and pages visited) where this is necessary to operate and secure the website.

3. How we use your personal data

We use the personal data you submit only to:

  • respond to investment, offtake, partnership and press enquiries;
  • arrange access to the Quest Park data room and any related non-disclosure agreement (NDA); and
  • maintain a record of our correspondence with you.

We do not use your details for marketing, profiling or automated decision-making, and we do not sell your personal data.

4. Lawful basis for processing

Under the UK GDPR, we rely on the following lawful bases:

  • Legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)) — to respond to business enquiries about the Quest Park project and to administer data-room and NDA processes with prospective counterparties. We have considered your rights and interests and consider this processing proportionate to the purpose.
  • Consent (Article 6(1)(a)) — where you actively submit a form on this website you consent to us processing the information you provide for the purposes set out above. You may withdraw your consent at any time by emailing us.

5. Storage and retention

Enquiry data submitted through this website is stored in our backend database, which is hosted on a managed cloud database platform (currently Supabase) within the European Economic Area. The data is held on encrypted infrastructure and access is restricted to authorised members of the Quest Park team and our professional advisors.

We retain enquiry records for as long as is necessary to respond to your enquiry, manage any resulting NDA or commercial relationship, and meet our legal, accounting and regulatory obligations. As a general rule, we keep enquiry records for up to 6 years from the date of last correspondence, after which they are deleted or anonymised.

6. Third parties and processors

We share personal data only with trusted third parties acting as our processors or professional advisors, and only to the extent necessary for the purposes described above. These currently include:

  • our backend database and hosting providers (including Supabase and our website hosting provider);
  • our transactional email provider (for sending acknowledgement and notification emails);
  • our legal advisors (TLT LLP) and other professional advisors named on the Team page, where relevant to your enquiry; and
  • regulators, law enforcement or other authorities where we are required to do so by law.

7. International transfers

We aim to keep personal data within the UK and EEA. Where any processor transfers data outside the UK or EEA (for example, support functions based in other jurisdictions), we ensure that an appropriate safeguard is in place, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

8. Your rights under UK GDPR

You have the following rights in relation to your personal data:

  • the right to be informed about how we use your data;
  • the right of access to a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
  • the right to rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • the right to erasure ("right to be forgotten") in certain circumstances;
  • the right to restrict or object to processing;
  • the right to data portability; and
  • the right to withdraw consent at any time, where consent is the lawful basis.

To exercise any of these rights, email bk@questpark.co.uk. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

9. Cookies

This website uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies. Strictly necessary cookies are used to operate the site and remember your cookie preferences. Non-essential cookies (for example, those set by an embedded chat widget) are only loaded if you accept them via our cookie banner.

You can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser storage for this site, which will cause the banner to be shown again.
